When my king is thoroughly occupied with my thoughts, he ignores me completely.
When he is overpowered by the welling desire to talk to me, he assumes a deep silence.
He refuses me through and through, but gives abundantly, unasked.
He reveals himself in simple ways, but flusters my wisdom when I try to figure out his majesty.
And when my lord is moved by the desire to shower his love upon me, and this is his trademark work: He sends clouds of problems to snare me and make me wriggle in pain.
